[G]Everybodys [Gsus2]been in my face,
[Gsus4]telling me I [Gsus2]gotta make a[G]change.
All I ever hear[Gsus2]day and night is,
[Gsus4]you better hurry[Gsus2]up and [G]get a life.
I[C]need some [Csus4]direction,[C]'cause the
clock is ticking away.
And then a frienda
friend of mine sais,I really been
on hismind and,wants to go[Gsus2]out
and check out what the feelings about.
Sais we have a deep connection.
Well it sure is news to me.
[C/E]And all I can[D]say is,
intu-[[D/G]-ition[C/G]tells me,
[D/G]how to[C/G]live my day,
intu-[D/G]-ition[C/G]tells me,
[D/G]when to[C/G]walk away,
[F]couldv'e turned left,
[C]couldv'e turned right,
but I[F]ended up here
[C]bang in the middle
of a[G]real life.
Then another one always sais,
she'd do anything to get ahead.
Doesn't care if she has to
scratch and claw to get in the door.
She want's her fifteen minute of fame,
and twenty would be nice.
But i guess it's her life,
'Cause intuition tells me,
that I'm doing fine,
intuition tells me,
when to draw the line.
Couldv'e turned left,
couldv'e turned right,
but I ended up here
bang in the middle of
a real life.
